This got like hugely better once he found the guy. But still I was ready to DNF it last night, then this morning read some more, just out of curiosity really. One big problem is a lot of the humor is really about the whole "Action Centre" thing, and if you've worked in Corporate America, that will seem very familiar. But guess what, I DON'T WANT my entertainment to remind me of my JOB!

some narrative tension at last. let's hope it keeps up, i was getting ready to dnf.

I find myself thinking of all the other books I could be reading instead of this one... I mean, it's funny, and I vaguely like Stark, but there's like nothing at stake and I really don't CARE about Stark or anything in this story so far.

so far this is enjoyable, but not compelling in any way.

this is funny, but it also reminds me that I have a job, which is not funny :(
