Everyone is fine and dandy now. People have started to settle into their new homes and some transferred camps. Percy and Annebeth have decided to go to school and live in Camp Jupiter, maybe with a family. The Blood of Olympus does fit well. It fits because the giants needed demigod blood to wake gaea to have Olympus fall.

Everyone is safe for the most part. The Roman and Greek clans have come into one and are no longer at war, with themselves anyway, monsters are still always going to be on the loose. One huge conflict was the war that Octavian was planning against the Greeks to destroy their puny “tribe”. This conflict had resulted in peace because of Annabeth’s triumph to get the Athena Parthenos.

The crew flew down like heroes onto the battlefield at Camp Halfblood to save the day! Yes, it was very cheesy, yes it was also entertaining. The group was seen fighting hordes of monsters, because Gaea woke. Connecting to this book is hard, life changes in characters like Jason getting over his weakness and new glasses. Other than connecting to that, a prediction is they will save the day with maybe a death or two.

The lot of 6 were surrounded by giant 30 foot tall giants and were about to be slain as the giants were trying to enjoy the moment. Out of nowhere a crack of lighting flashes and all of the Olympian gods fly down on giant flying chariots to save the day, this was a daydream, but it came true. The most important part and interesting was Jason having a vision of him 50 years in the future telling this to his own kids.

The group is now back at Camp Halfblood and are overlooking Octavious who is planning to invade the camp. The war is about to be stopped (hopefully) because of the Athena Parthenos. The most important word I’ve read is almost. This word means so much because it shows that people are barely getting by and it isn’t just too easy for them.

The lot is on a hill looking over a city and making complex plans to infiltrate it to reclaim the Athena parthenos they lost in their short battle. Frank somehow turned into a bunch of bees as Hazel transforms them into 6 armed monsters. One character that was briefly in the book was Bob, he is very loyal. Percy spared his life and turned him into a friendly Titan and they still are really good friends.

Orion is in a battle with Reyna, and the Athena Parthenos granted Reyna power through her jacket cape thing that is appareantly magic. She was able to suck in an explosion redirect it and kill the giant. I have read 3 3\4 books this year.

The crew is about to reach the Athens and will have their final battle to either save the world, or fail and have everything vanquish. This book tries to focus on friends. It’s cheesy and all but that’s what the book focuses on, teamwork, friends, and family. These things might not seem important but the book is to just tell a nice story with a good moral to it not really to mainly focus on the cheesy stuff.

Leo had just repaired the ship and upgraded it considering he only had about 2 days to live before the world ends unless Nico brings the Athena parthenos to Camp half blood and stop the war. The genre of this book is historic fiction because of the Greek gods and Roman gods but it’s fiction because of all of the powers the people have.

Jason just got out of a fight almost dying with Percy defending him. Nico and coach are now in the underworld exploring and trying to get out of their current area not in the underworld. Leo is the most interesting character in the novel by far. No one ever knows what he’s up to and he always has a plan. His knowledge really helps everyone throughout the entire trip and he can spit fire from his hands.
