The point of view in my book is first person. This affects the action in terms of what the readers knows rather than what the characters know because it seems like the characters know more than what I know because they handle the princess everyday and know how to deal with her. I am just now learning about her and how she handles her princess responsibilities.

A brief summary of my book is that Mia is trying to become queen, but deals with some difficulties because some people are preventing her from fulfilling her duties as queen. She keeps listening to the advise from her grandmother, the current queen, and realizes just to ignore the others and make the change that she wants to see.

The theme of this book relates to my other book because they both prove a point, what ever you do, people may be against it. In this book, when Mia is trying to become queen, the error to the throne after her is against her being queen and in my other book, when the main character tried to open a psychic reading shack, her ex was against the idea. The difference is that they both relate to two diffferent topics.

The relationship between the protagonist and the antagonist in my book is that Mia, protagonist, and the price to be, antagonist, are not getting along. The prince to be is trying to take Mia's position because she is before the prince in the line of power for their family to rule. The two characters are not related in any way. Details would be when the prince said, "I should rule, not you," to Mia.

The author uses characterization to develop the protagonist in my story by describing how Mia is like and what she feels when doing her princess duties. She gets nervous and stressed out sometimes when being princess. So she thinks about how her life would be if she never found out she was a princess and at the moment, she thinks it's better, but she knows she would never fail on completing her duties as a princess.

A particular incident in my book that provokes a decision is when Mia's grandmother was making her go to lunch with important people in Genovia's congress, but Mia didn't want to go because there was a guy that she didn't like there. Mia kept telling her grandmother that she didn't want to go because of him and that caused conflict between her and her grandmother.

A word in my book is monochromatic. This is an example of a connotative meaning. From reading the surrounding text, I think the word means having one color. I think the author used this word to describe what the man's shirt looked like.
