Bored by military strategy.
I was interested in reading one of the newer books in the series that I haven't yet read (i.e 3.5+), so I went back to reread books 1-3. As I near the end of 3 again, I realize why I previously shelved the series. I enjoy the interactions between Joe and Skippy, and I'm intrigued by the plight of the humans through out the universe, but I loathe the descriptive battle scenes.
