A few things:
(1) I don't know if Millar's pulling his punches, but so far this has been relatively tame.
(2) I feel like I missed out on a duo book. It pretty much goes straight from lone wolf to super-team.
(3) Continuity error: Myspace is still a thing here, which would be fine if the prequel story (written afterward) wasn't all into Facebook.

A few thoughts:
(1) Yeah, I take back what I said about this being tame. At about issue three this went all Red Wedding and gets really sick and disturbing.
(2) I appreciate that Millar gave each volume a distinct tone.
(3) Finding art to except in updates is super-difficult, because nearly every panel's a spoiler, profanity-laced, or disgusting.

Homage: Frank Quitely, 2009 (left), John Romita Jr., 2012 (right)
Thoughts:
(1) I’m reading the series in official reading order, not order of publication. This was actually the second book written, the last book was third but retconned as “Book 2.”
(2) Continuity error: in the previous book Hit-Girl is 12-1/4 years old, here she’s 11-3/4.
