When a book gets a little too real

Some of King's villains in this book are actually behaving well for once with helping abandoned children. I'm thankful that the little girl isn't a grown woman because they sure love to rape or assault women.

On hiatus. This book is raising my blood pressure too much right now, but I will return to this.

Is it normal to want to set fire to a character? Lol

I hate most of the cops in this book especially Junior. I don't care that has a brain tumor. He was a bully before and after it. I just feel this rage like flames on the side of my face.

Very interesting critique on corrupt police forces (not all cops, mind you).

I love how the emts are gore hounds. Appropriate? No, but at least people don't overhear them. Lol

Awe poor Duke. His pacemaker exploded.

"Nothing, you know, runs like a Deere." Ends the scene when a farmer dies by running his tractor into an invisible dome. I lol'd a little too hard at that line.
