I'm back on here because I encountered a section of my book about reading body language. I HATE IT. It's a pseudoscience used against neurodivergent/mentally ill people. As a neurodivergent mentally ill person I have a rant coming. I struggle with eye contact and it's not because I'm lying to you. So many body language tells can be just anxiety cues and if you have chronic anxiety you get my point. I gotta get going.

Reading this one with Sarah soon, so I'm waiting until she's ready. I'm so excited to do another reading a book with someone else, because it's been f o r e v e r lol

We don’t like it when the same news gets posted twice on ONTD, but when it comes to books, the same story can be told in many different ways and still charm the reader. This month, let’s read a retelling!

Everytime someone fights in this book this is how I feel:

I'm really enjoying this book. My step-dad is a veterinarian & this is his book. He recced it to me.

I'm done, but I'm on vacation, and I want to write a quality review, so a review will be written when I get home.

Niall is being so dumb. He is basically like "She looks and sounds like Skye and even has the same name but it's not my Skye." I'm like you have no excuse- you didn't lose your memory in a convoluted way. It's probably for the best for right now since they both have remarried lol

I know we are supposed to like Geoffrey, Skye's 3rd husband but he's such an ass. Not the worst or anything like that. The only thing he is good for is The Sex tho so get it, Skye, but his personality is a swipe to the left for me. lol

Don't fear guys, Skye is now free and married to her former owner. He's a nice guy actually. She did make a few enemies tho.

Re-reading this one for ONTD's 2019 Reading Challenge for June - My Friend With a Bike
This month, let’s celebrate our friends with bikes who like to gossip with us. Read a book about friendship (or where friendship is the main theme).

Now Skye has lost her memory & is sold into (sex) slavery and is going to be trained to be the best whore ever. This feels like it happened out of nowhere tbh.

My reaction when Skye's first husband dies:

I decided this is going to be my ONTD May 2019 Reading Challenge book. The prompt is: "Have you ever cheated on your wife with a Russian model you met at Luxembourg? Of course not! You’ve never even been to Luxembourg! (But you can read about it). This month, let’s read a book set in a country you’ve never been to. " So this month I'm traveling to Ireland and other far away lands :P

Bertie sex scenes continue to crack me up lmaooo Skye's current husband needs to diaf or get his soup poisoned or something.

In all honestly, I missed reading a bodice ripper so I'm going to enjoy this one (hopefully).

I think her theories are interesting but I can't completely agree 100%. I personally have felt schadenfreude before I heard of the word and was happy to hear a word existed. I think a lot of people would agree with me about that. In Japan they have a word, Age-otori, which is the feeling of looking worse after a haircut. I have felt this too before today lol

"Variations are the norm." The brain's ability to rewire itself after injury or to work more efficiently is a blessing tbh. (I'm on mobile and I can't remember the actual spelling of the actual term and auto-correct isn't helping me).

I meant to add in my previous just posted update that I have a feeling my tl;dr summary review will be "Brains and bodies are weird." I say that with all affection but it's true, bodies and brains are weird, and emotions are included in that statement lol

This month, read a book that involves time-travel - and get lost in the pages like Robin Williams (or Nick Jonas in the remake) did in the game Jumanji.

I'm enjoying this one a lot so far.
