Right, that’s it. I feel compelled to write another update on this book. I’ve now laughed so hard so many times, that I’ve teared up on at least three occasions. Eleanor is an absolutely splendid character, with plentiful entertaining quirks. And so lovable too. She’s awfully judgemental, but in the sweetest way possible. You’ll know what I mean when you read the book. Read this book!

I had no idea what this book was about until I started reading it. All I know so far is that in contrast to The Secret History, which was dark as hell and not funny in that slightest (but then, that was its appeal), this has cracked me up at least once every other page. That’s a good sign only 6% in.
