Me editing book 1 of my series: this is great! I mean, yeah, some issues, but nothing a couple rewrites can’t fix!

Me editing book 2 of my series: THIS IS A DISASTER. THESE CHILDREN ARE NOT JUST WRONG THEYRE PROBLEMATIC. WHO LET ME WRITE ROMANCE BECAUSE ITS AWFUL. I SHOULD TRASH THE WHOLE THING AND START OVER.

I swear, there’s only one character in book 2 who’s okay, and that’s because he doesn’t get POV.

HELP.

I agree! And the annoying thing is that I don't even have a love triangle! I gave a boyfriend to one of my characters before having her very firmly and politely inform me that she is aromantic and does not need no man, so...he has to go xD And then my MAIN character and HER boyfriend originally broke up for no reason? and...that really didn't need to happen? So...that needs to be fixed. Drastically. Heeeeellllppppp. xD

Well, sounds like you have a bit of a problem!! And it also sounds like your character whom you gave the BF too is controlling you? How did that happen. XD relationships are hard to manage. For your MC, I'd reccomend only having them break up for a good reason. Write out reasons they should break up, and reasons they shouldn't! I don't know your characters' like you do so YOU have to take charge!!! Go girl!!

Well, because these characters are alive and they really know what's best for themselves, and in cases like this I'm OKAY to let them lead (that guy didn't need to exist anyway, really, so...buh-bye to him xD)

And then for the MC there is no good reason, so...they stay together. This is why no one should EVER let me write romance, haha. Thanks xD

Katrina Michelle I'M YOUR CHEERLEADER. *waves pom-poms* GO, FAITH!! YOU GOT THIS!!

Kate Willis Urgh, sorry! I feel this way about one of my projects right now too. My writing buddies are great at encouraging me to keep going though.

Merie Shen Ack! I feel your pain! Writing romance is definitely NOT easy. Don't worry; you'll make it to the end somehow! ;)

Mary Herceg I'm sorryyyyyyyyyyy!!!! That sounds like a nightmare of agony and doubt. I am SURE it is better than you think, and that even if it's not, it has potential to be great - just after lots and lots of revision and editing. Some rough drafts are born uglier than others, but all are born ugly. :(

But I feel your painnnnn. Really hoping that doesn't happen with my next two books (the first one turned out a mess but still okay), but that's how it's looking to be..........
