This was a really good Christmas story. Enough detail, not too much repetition on hang-ups or baggage. As part of a series, it can easily be read as a stand alone. Plus, not too much time spent on a bunch of names and relationships or circumstances of other characters as they were co-mingled. That is why it can be read as a stand alone. Would be another feel good Hallmark/Lifetime/Ion holiday movie.
