I love Stephen King’s writing, but I don’t read his works for something like this. This is a rather generic “feel good” story. Scott’s weight loss has alway started when the book opens. Might have been a bit better if the loss of weight = his good deeds = his (and the towns) elevation.
A quick read, but nothing memorable here.
