Mark is slowly wanting to give up. He dosen't think he will be able to get a hold of earth. I think that Mark should keep on trying becuase who knows he would find a way to contact them and he could be rescued asap. If he were to give up he would't have any good chances. Mark has enough food, water and shelter to last him quite a bit as well.

Mark is still alive! He made somthing called a "green house" and he planted foods. He planted potatos and carrots and foods like that. He also needs to find more water. He keeps saying "hes gonna die" or "hes not gonna survive" but I think that if keeps doing what hes doing he wil survive longer then he expected. I can't wait to keep reading and see what happends next!

Mark Watney is about to be the first person to walk on mars. On there way there is a huge storm. Mark gets knocked out and he wakes up on mars in a huge sand pile with nobody around. The people left him behind becuase they thught he was dead. I can't even imagine. how scarry that would be. If i were Mark I don't know what i'd do.
