I just started reading White Is a State of Mind and it's about Melba re-telling her story of how it felt and what it was like in her shoes to live with an ongoing battle- segregation. She tries to stay positive throughout her days of attending an all white high school . Without her and the eight courageous warriors, I don't know where our country would be today.
