Okay, nearing the halfway point and while I guessed Anastasia and Harry would find a way to come together, I was NOT planning on the introduction of a major antagonist. Completely unexpected and stirring. Nicely done.

Only one takeaway: might want to mention that the Portland you're talking about is in Maine. Just saying

In the words of Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman, "I'm just getting warmed up!"

I will say this much, Frankel doesn't waste any time... and I LOVE the way he has a prologue without labeling it PROLOGUE.

The pacing is good and the characters possess depth... I'm actually going to miss Winter if he never shows up again.
