So I was just writing, and I thought I had something in my eye, so I reached up to rub it, and then I realized it was a tear. And that I had a lump in my throat. And that I was crying writing my own book.

It was more the aftermath of something I'd already done...I killed a character earlier on in the series and one of the other characters didn't know about it until just now. So that hurt a lot. *cries*
I feel you! I was writing a betrayal scene that was really tense and I got so mad at the betrayer. I've always thought that if the author has intense emotions while writing a book, then the reader will too.
It's always hard to write such sad scenes though! I'm killing one of my MC"s friends and having someone betray her, so she's having nearly everything taken from her. What kind of monster am I? BAHAHA
(that was not intended to sound like an evil laugh)
