Another phone issue. iPhones sync a lot of data to the cloud (photos, notes, etc). And a process for backup to iTunes. Given how much the team relies on them and how tech savvy Victor is supposed to be, everything should be getting backed up. If Luke had evidence, I'd think he would have backed things up and/or printed things. Again, this is a serious weakness in the plot. Even for 2015 (which is only 3 years ago!).

And yet another stupid phone moment in a sea of stupid phone moments in this series. Sang always always puts her phone in her bra, even when it makes no sense. Except for the few times the author needs it elsewhere so it can be taken for another contrived plot point. *growl*

The whole Thanksgiving Day part of this book was wonderful. Sweet and feel-good. I am glad it was included in Book 9 instead of being a separate novella (like Halloween was). Added a lovely break from all the angst and worry.

Sigh... No, what you need to do, Sang, is stop angsting and talking to everyone else about what is going on with Luke and just sit down and TALK TO LUKE. This dang book should be called "Angst and Secrets" instead of "Healing Power of Sugar".

This is a bad segue. Too abrupt going from close up details of what was occurring (the last at the school being in-school suspension and Dr. Green in trouble), to suddenly "one day driving to school" and news about missing people and all sorts of other things happening. Almost like this was written differently and either moved in editing or a section removed, but this chapter not updated to transition more smoothly.

Holy Hades, Sang. Talk to fracking Mr. Blackbourne about this, would you? You are supposed to be talking to him about all of this! JUST DO IT!

Another continuity issue: Why does Luke suddenly have a clip again when they made a big deal earlier about noting his man bun and how Gabriel had taken all the clips and they would need to buy more?

Why would you text Luke when you just said he was not with his phone at the house? He won't get it! Duh

Sigh more overthinking and secret keeping and "I don't wanna bother..." crap. Grr...
Sang, you've earned a Master's in that by now. Or maybe even a PhD!

OMFG... that is one of the most adorable and hilarious scenes ever. LOVE IT!
