Ha! I pride myself on at least having an idea of what is going on, maybe even figuring out early "whodunit" in a murder/mystery type book...and I have to admit that this theory never even crossed my mind as a possibility. Kinda brilliant if it does turn out to be this way.

What the what? I just...this is the most convoluted JL book I've ever listened to - and I'm loving it. Although, I do have to say that other than introducing a new love interest this book could have been a Holmes & Moriarity installment.

The tourists on this bus sound like the ones with me & my family on our trip to China, asking about where they can shop, where there might be more "American" style bathrooms (no squatting), if there would be a place to get less "Chinese" type food for lunch...and one old lady that actually complained about the overcrowding & all the people speaking Chinese.
