"Either we heal as a team or we are going to crumble. Inch by inch, play by play, 'til we're finished. We are in hell right now, Gentlemen, believe me. And we can stay there and get the crap kicked out of us or we can fight our way, back into the light. We can climb out of hell one inch at a time."
This is my favorite quote because it's coach J.T. giving a speech right before their first game it motivates the team.

The team wins the state championship even tho all the adversity they went through. The team beat all the odds and came out on top. I think you should have independent reading in your class i did find it valuable because students usually don't read at home.

The team plays up against their old quarterback Johnny Theil. But their defense is more worried about hurting him than keeping him from scoring. It was an emotional game for the patriots because they lost 6-16 or something like that. Coach J.T. says this after the game "losing will never be accepted here at any level or for any reason. We can't use the storm as an excuse."

The School and parents of the players want the coach to cancel the next game because there is a chance of another hurricane. The coach won't. They get a new player, P.J,. Smith that's pretty much all that happened.

The team has began to practice in harsh conditions. Even though the hurricane they do not take their mind off of the goal they made at the beginning of the season. It's the same characters as the last time i updated my reading. This is a pretty good book to read.

This book introduces a lot of characters up to this point. It also has talked about how the Patriots still win most of their games with a third-string quarterback. The team has a great coach but not a lot of money to fund them. they don't even have their own field. The team wins despite all the setbacks that occur. The book is pretty good and I would recommend it to people who like football.
