They thought they had found a road that turned out to just be a trail that leads to nowhere and the dogs began to get very tired and hungry they had very little energy and the men were very weary and hungry but as they kept venturing they saw lights through the trees.

They had looked for a road all day and never found 1 but as they searched through the woods looking for food they began to hear the faint sounds of a road and searched in the direction and finally found it. and followed the road to a town

They have been practicing hard for the final race and there hadn't been any snow so it made it hard for them to practice on the trails because when they tried to turn they had very little control but they have to practice to win the final race against the fastest dog sled team in that town
