Complaints: 1) Descriptions are lacking in originality. Everything is based off other reference points. 'The elevator looked like the Star Trek lifts.' I get that's the schtick, but it feels like a shortcut. 2) This book is 90% exposition. Whole chapters are devoted to setting up a small piece of action. 3) Wade studied 30 yrs of pop culture in 4 yrs? Every episode, movie, book, & song; some multiple times? Come on!
