Calvin was complaining about how the heat wasn't on. He told his dad to get a job that paid high enough to be able to have the heat on and asks to move to Florida. Calvin's mom then tells him to put a sweater on. He yells out "And go through all that work!!?" I thought this was funny becuase i am like Calvin in this situation.

Calvin is a funny character. I liked when he said to Hobbes that he's a simple man, then Hobbes reminds Calvin that he wanted a nuclear powered jet car yesterday. After that Calvin went on to explain that he is now a simple man with complex tastes. I could see myself talking to one of my friends and having a similar conversation.

my favorite story was when calvin had to write a story for his class , so he time traveled and 6:30 hobbes and 8:30 hobbes ended up writing the paper about him. It was super funny when He ended up getting an A+ because he was "using tiger narration and finally applying himself.

When Hobbes asks Calvin if he has homework to do as they were playing in the snow, Calvin says he quit doing homework because it lowers his self esteem. He also says it that it send a message that he doesn't know enough and it makes him feel bad . I have never thought about homework that way. lol
