I can't handle it. My stomach muscles hurt too much from laughing. I might have to get that book for work. My favorites are the ones between dad and daughter or mom and son. OMG. I would have died.
I think with all this depressing crap on GR and online, it's just fun to laugh even when you want to be angry.

We definitely need something to cheer us all up and help us forget the drama - I've had more than enough of all the crap lately!

Totally agree. I think people forget that real life has much more serious drama & pain in it but it also has wonderful fun laughter. (ok that was a bit deep for someone who was going through auto corrects just a minute ago).
I attempted to drink while reading one of those auto corrects and I'm still coughing five minutes later.

I know exactly what you mean about the drama. If I want stress or hassles I can get that in my real life (as well as a lot of fun too - it's not all bad LOL) but reading & GR are hobbies. Hobbies are supposed to be fun not stressful and I just can't face any more drama. I don't want to waste my time on it anymore but it makes me sick that people think their behaviour is acceptable. Totally agree. My real life was so messed up (and still very stressful) for two months to the point I couldn't read or review any books. I come back on and I find all of this mess. I think that is why I've been seeking out everything fun and light.
We definitely shouldn't find ourselves avoiding our hobbies because of drama. It's just ridiculous. It's supposed to be a release and not a stress maker.

I agree. I'm staying out of it from now on but in the beginning, I was too curious (and too pissed) and found myself engaged in all the drama.
But now, like you, I am refusing to join in the comments. The only way it will stop is when others realize we are too busy reading or busy with real life to care.
Off to clean this messy, messy house and watch some Olympic volleyball.
It was good talking to you!!!
