So far I like it. The writing is easy to read, the story is moving at a good pace. I like Wade -- I enjoy that he isn't the ~typical teenage lead. He's mentioned he's shorter, overweight and acne prone. Your regular teenager. All the niche 80 references are cool, but I didn't live through the 80's and some of it goes over my head. You can tell the author was alive and nostalgic.
