wow, that entire exchange with quirrell was fascinating. makes me wonder if I'd want to be a dark lord myself. seems like too much work. but now I understand why I got sorted slytherin rather than ravenclaw -- I care much more for practical applications, efficiency, and general competence way more than accumulating knowledge :P

finally finished this (or a least what's out so far) last night. love it! I enjoy this a lot more than I do the original HP series, which I couldn't even finish... (crazy, i know). can't wait to read whatever comes next :) this "HP for adults" is waayyyy better than the magicians! (hate that book with a passion)

I am finding the philosophical discussions to be much more interesting than all the action that accompanied their not-so-little Azkaban outing

this has made me tear up and sniffly so many times already. love Draco and his patronus, the love between Draco and Lucius, the grayness of both dumbledore and Lucius... can't wait to see how all of this plays out

wow, that whole episode with the dementor was incredible -- by turns heartbreaking and uplifting. despite my comments regarding the inferiority of certain houses, it was incredible to see those values all working together: thirst for the truth, courage to face it, power to act upon it, all bound up in love.

LOL even the teenaged girls at hogwarts are into Harry x Draco!

fascinating talk about immortality. I do wonder about overpopulation and depleting of resources, though. and great point about souls and the afterlife!

omg! so that's the quadruple agent in a 3-team war... and I was silly enough to think he came up with all of it on his own
