Slow, but not as slow as the previous two novels. So far fairly interesting. Still not enough nightrunning. Someone let the dense out, they're blatantly overlooking things they shouldn't have missed for the sake of the story.

Is the romance aspect as large as I expected it to be in this one?

Addendum: Romance, what romance? Couple tiny squishy moments between any of the involved characters but not much else.
