slow going. I'm starting "one flew over the cuckoo's nest" b/c this book is just so hard to make sense of. i'm on the chapter about colonel cathcart and it's just so... weird.. I want to finish this but it's just so odd at times.

the first 11 chapters are difficult to make sense of. it's sort of coming together a little more coherently now, and you see some themes that were introduced early on start to make more sense.
