I'm enchanted by this series, but the fucking love triangle is driving me insane. Because the right choice is so obvious and Alyssa is just too maddeningly stubborn. Seriously, if Alyssa is not with Morpheus by the end of the next book, I'm gonna raise hell. And what's up with heroines who refuse to be queens? Is it a new trend nowadays in YA?

Alyssa, you keep repeating Jeb's name ad nauseam, but how is everyone supposed to believe you are in love with him, if you are dreaming of dancing with another man in the middle of a blazing fire or across a starlit sky? Something doesn't add up, girl ;)

"You said home.” Morpheus looks down at me, expression hopeful. “You admitted it. Wonderland is your home.”
I shake my head. “I meant his home.”

Yeah, I agree, Jeb totally needs one. ROFL.

Why is Jeb always glaring? Does he have headlights instead of eyes?

«I have to finish what I started,” Jeb says, mechanically. Maniacally. “It’ll be so fast, you won’t feel a thing."
Okay, so being in a drugged state, Jeb bit you and tried to strangle you, and you STILL think he is a perfect boyfriend? Alyssa, you've got to be kidding me!

"Wait! Don’t leave me. Tell Morpheus I’m sorry I hurt him. Tell him I need him here. Please, it’s important!"
I was one step away from getting on my knees and begging for his return …

You know what, Alyssa? With the way you act, you cannot grovel enough to deserve that guy.
