Emma’s Reviews > The Truth According to Ember > Status Update

Unlike Ember I did not pass the screening phase when I applied to be a bank teller.

This was really fun. Identified a lot with Ember trying to take care of her entire family without asking for help and just trying to make good.

Stability and visibility are what give us the confidence to live full and authentic lives.

what a great author’s note. I’m so glad they made sure it was in the audiobook

You’ll have to work on that because no one hates Patches.

Lolol I really like that Danowa(sp?) is all in for his cat.

No Ember. Nooooooo

I’ve been waiting for an embezzlement issue since this book started.

Danuwoa’s sister has Down syndrome.

Couldn’t people just be normal and kind?

Vibe!

I had to be everything to everyone. …

This is really fun so far. Love the writing.
