Great book about maps. Love that the end we see it’s from one kid to another who is moving into the new house. My go to for maps has been mapping pennys world for years and years so really nice to have a new one in the mix.

A little text heavy in places but fun meta fiction on how to create a story.

Kind of sad because tar pits but really informative. Good backmatter and interesting artwork.

Absolutely gorgeous. I love everything about this. The perfect picture book where it's great on first read but also so rich it rewards closer and repeated reading. The author's note is a must as well with Lies talking about his process including photos as well as the value in making and creating. Yay.
