I say this all the time! Cheating says more about the person who broke the covenant than the one who was cheated on. Society places blame on the latter: you let yourself go / you no longer sexually fulfil your partner. But it’s about the former’s inability to communicate their needs.

“ pleasure is energy reciprocated: what you put out comes back.”

I’m reading the Tenth Anniversary Edition and this line resonated from the additional introduction:

“true spiritual growth, no matter what might occur, is less about changing who you are and has everything to do with becoming more of yourself.”
