Alright, this book is better than the first. The writing is still awkward, but the plot itself is solid. I really like it.

The first 50 or so pages were so poorly written it was distracting, but it picked up. I actually really like the politics of the book so far. You finally start to see how ugly the people of the capital really are. And of course there's more of that internal struggle from a female perspective stuff. Being coerced into things while trying to hang on to your identity.
