I’m really aggravated myself for continuing to read this book. I saw the 4 & 5 star reviews & figured it would get better. I’m 53% through (chapter 8) & the writing style is terrible.

Also, the mentality of Marigold is that of a middle/high schooler, though she is 20.

I do like the Axel & Zak from what I’ve seen so far. Paxton is going to be the bully & Hector hasn’t been shown yet.
