Just started this behemoth text and I'm already confounded. The first breather can be frustrating at times but begs of the reader to surrender at once any preconceived notion of what the novel should be. It is haunting, voyeuristic, poetic. All things considered, I've not been so eager to park my fat ass beneath a tree since cracking Infinite Jest.
