I can't get over the terrible names. They're so over-the-top awful. It feels like a joke I'm not entirely privy to. Peeta Mellark, "the baker's son"? I can't stop thinking about how every time I eat a pita pocket I'm sad that I'm not eating a sub sandwich. And that is pretty much how I feel about Peeta. I'm dead serious when I say my entire reading experience is being colored by feelings about pita bread.

So, she mentions that rue is black THREE times.

So far Rue has been described at black, not once, but TWICE. So that makes all those "stick to the book" people twice as oblivious.

So I bought this book having no idea what it was, because while I was at the bookstore I picked up a copy and said, "What is this?" and a 14 year old girl whipped around and was like, "THE BEST BOOK, EVER!" And I was like, eh, for nine bucks why not? I'm not gonna lie, it's really poorly written. So much so that I barely made it passed page five. But I'm sticking with it.
