Oh....well that was super anticlimactic

The third act conflict feels so contrived and just highlights how ungrounded the romantic pairing is. Also I don't mind the male love interest being a single father, but I certainly could do without so much of the kid being included in this story.

This is starting to feel like a slog. I can't put my finger on why, but it suddenly feels a bit tedious. Maybe it's the teenager I'm being forced to read about?
