omg the man died just so Allegra could be motivated to take on her sister's baby. so I CALLED it, publisher's weekly's criticism still rings true.

But also, kind of an absolutely insane move to continue to deprive this couple who've been trying to have a baby for years, getting deprived of an adopted baby twice AND the wife having FOURTEEN miscarriages 😭 like ik it's sam's baby still but that's fucking rough

Mrs. Steel you can't just put dialogue from one character (Blaire) and then immediately after in the same paragraph have a different character's name 😭😭😭 It sounds like Allegra is saying this, start a new paragraph at least

"She never referred to him anymore as her father." Dawg you LITERALLY called your birth father Charles Stanton "father" and "daddy" in multiple paragraphs before this one AND in THIS PARAGRAPH
