Brian Eshleman This is a book that keeps on giving, isn't it? I'm reading it for the second consecutive year, and I keep getting new stuff. It also keeps popping up in my blog. As the speechwriter says on the West Wing, good writers borrow from other writers. Great writers steal outright.

Josh Trombley I'm enjoying it more and more. Wasn't so sure when I started. It has grown in me now

Brian Eshleman I'm finding those that adjust us day by day, degree by degree, have that particular power. I'm not surprised Scripture does, but devotionals hardly less so. If I didn't already become prickly about daily habits which are otherwise appositive, I'd perform a controlled experiment with some other great, nonbiblical literature, like Shakespeare, taking it five minutes at a time each day.
