Interesting book, the structure is basically 3 long chapters. The first was about a backcountry trip taken by several men as the scouted for possible park land. Some natural history along with some history of the local tribes. The second chapter is about looking for a new state capital site. Lots of political discussion. Interesting characters, fun read.
