Sherlock Holmes is a quest archtype since he faces many obstacles to figure out mysteries. For example in the short story "A Case of Identity" Holmes looks for clues and pieces together the identity of Miss Sutherland's lover, Hosmer Angel. This shoes that the protagonist overcomes a problem in a quest like manor proving that The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes is a quest arch type.

Summary: The main character of my book is Sherlock Holmes who is a detective: Detective Holmes dives into some of the most unsolvable mysteries and manages to well... solve them! The story/ies takes place in England mostly London. A Scandel in Bohemia has Holmes aiding a king in finding a painting thief. The stories take place in chronological order and always keeps people on the edge of their seat.

Visualize: When reading the adventures of Sherlock Holmes I often see what is happening in the story. Of course there are many examples of this but one of my favorite times of this happening was during the Scandel in Boemia, on page 23 when the author described Holmes ""Fire" the word was no sooner out of my mouth..." Text to Text: Sherlock Holmes often reminds me of Arsène Lupin, how do I think about a thief when talking about a detective? Well both are keen and cunning as well as strategic which is seen multiple times by Sherlock, but specifically when he solved the case in Bohemia when he had an accomplice stage a scene of a fire to find the location of a hidden painting. This shows how Sherlock reminds me of Arsène Lupin.

Conflict: I think the conflict in my book is a character vs. character. I know that it is a character vs. character since on ≈ page 10 Sherlock Holmes learns that a king is being harassed by an 'unknown woman'. That 'unknown woman is a character leading me to believe that the story is character vs. character.

Predictions: I think that Holmes is about to have an extremely important case. I think this because in paragraph 5 page 9 Holmes forces answer "'I am the king. Why should I attempt to conceal it'". Knowing that the man is royalty I can infer Holmes is going to have an important case.
