i can't help but feel like everyone in this book is fake except for Tiana herself and Facilier, and it's quite disturbing because it feels like she's alone even when she's surrounded by people. I'm not sure yet if this is intentional but I guess I'll figure that out soon.

I’m almost there… but something feels off about this story. I’ve been feeling so detached from the characters and I just realized what the problem is for me. I don’t think they’ll fix it at this point, but it’s about an important character being completely ignored. We’ll see how this ends first.

This last chapter was surprising! It tackled themes of racism head-on, something that's barely implied in the movie and very real in that time. I'm happy they did this!
