I've really wanted to love this author's books but they've never quite fully clicked. This is their first non-YA book and so far it is really good! Drews always kills it when it comes to foreboding vibes. I am frustrated with Elodie but also have sympathy for her, being so young and in a really complicated situation. But girl, get some help, you need the tools to better understand your kid.
