I stopped reading a month ago at this point because of the rape scene... First one in the book, and I knew it was coming because of the tv show, but I still irrationally hoped the book would skip it 🤷♀️

Also, I haven't watched season 2 yet, I saw maybe the first two episodes, but I must say I like it better that it starts in "modern" times. I discontinued the tv show because it made me too anxious, but the book made sure I know everything turned out fine first 😅
