Well, this is going exactly how they always feared it could happen. Makes the excessive paranoia, the lying of their wives, and the killings we've seen so far seem entirely justified.

I don't like the lying, makes me anxious :/

Recently, I saw a lot of people on GR who can't regulate their emotions enough not to comment on unfavorable reviews of their favorite books. Like, you think it's okay to comment on the emotional state, intelligence, or friggin' menstrual cycle of the reviewer? Because they hated the book you loved? FFS sometimes I feel like we deserve everything we're getting as a species.

It's frustrating watching Claire and Jamie doing their best to do something we were already told had failed 🙄

I mostly avoid commenting on my updates because there's not way of talking about anything without spoiling everything

It sucks when you really want to just sink into the book until you finish it, but instead you have to do boring stuff like work 🙄

Also, I haven't watched season 2 yet, I saw maybe the first two episodes, but I must say I like it better that it starts in "modern" times. I discontinued the tv show because it made me too anxious, but the book made sure I know everything turned out fine first 😅

God, this book is difficult to read. I keep spacing out, I onlt just finished chapter 3 and I've been reading for two months 🙈

I don't know if it's the writing or the genre. I thought I liked Magical Realism because I loved Piranesi 😭
