Realizing Poppy has zero appreciation for Fall and is a Spring/Summer girl made everything click.

I cannot fundamentally click with someone who ain’t a cozy girl (I’m being sarcastic)

I didn’t realize just how much her inner thoughts rambled on.

Sometimes the language feels inconsistent. At times, I feel the author is trying to use language more consistent with more classic fantasy styled novels and at other times it’s like walking through the mind of a middle schooler.

Curious to see how much I will (probably not) enjoy this book six years later
