Status Update

Karen is 21% done

Hmmm, took 20% into the book and finally were in the heat, getting to the crux of the matter. Up until now, the voice I heard reading this book in my head is Sly Stallone, funny but true, driven (I’m sure) by the tone of Rosson’s writing style. Grizzled and graveled seems appropriate.

By this point, it’s gone a little Anne Rice on me. Not sure how I feel about the touch-and-feel approach on so many great vampire stories. I love my Anne Rice books with a strange ferocity. For the last few chapters, it’s grown a bit tedious and I hate that.
