I think this was best of all her books. I love the balance. I just read face off. I didn’t know she was 14 books in. maybe that’s the lucky #. I have this theory that I don’t normally enjoy trad pub for author who I read as indie or self in romance. I think there are restrictions and oddly enough not as good editing. Not this one. This might be a first for me. That trad pub of indie author ranking #1

I like books that reassure you that you can have a great life with the right people because they make everything better. curto prizes friendships especially group friendships. mia and coop — i will be waiting.

it’s sweet but tbh figuring out that your dream life means a life with the people you love around you. that you can have it no matter how uncertain you feel in the present is so chefs kiss.

they’re just so delightful. I was waiting for the moment where he tells how long and how much he’s always liked her. she starts to catch on then there is a mammoth storm and really insane but totally realistic weather phenomenon that screams DANGER. That’s an interruption that is frankly a good reason not to confess. Me and my watch—when are they going to talk about it.

I feel this so strongly. the way romance has superficially selected certain professions is limiting and holds back our characters from being the well realized people. this goes extra for making everyone a billionaire. that’s choice that’s partly convenient.

I freakin love that their both meteorologist. I love that they nerd out together.

romance tends to romanticize jobs. economics isn’t sexy when you don’t have $. but a job while not an identity is part of daily life. ( if someone isn’t working that’s perfectly fine. their daily life will include something else whatever occupies their time that’s not unimportant. It doesn’t need to be core to them but done well)

it’s still so hard to be balanced. i think knowing curto took time to write this makes me love it more. for me this is her best book in terms of balance. I love how deep this goes into hurricanes, weather, and the industry/career of meterologist. I want professions done well. I don’t need it be core to the story but done right.

I said I just read face off. that’s about 2 hockey players on the same team. that started off brilliant but lost it’s focus the team + sport when the romance came in. I am not asking to cut down romance of it all. my solution is to write a longer book where you keep you focus but incorporate those moments without losing connection. that’s still hard. idea of being team. that’s good way to bring -><-

this is such a +++ i am 75% in. jobs. contemporary romance tends sticks to certain jobs . i think this in film too. how detailed and researched and incorporated the job is to them and their life is a major plus pt . exceeds everything. i love how unique and well researched this.

I am such a sucker. I love it. I love that they both love weather. mausam is awesome forever. I am having such a good time. I just love the soft flirting. Puns and prodding cuteness. I never read Lyla Sage when she was crossing over from Indie to Trad. I read a while after. I feel like this what readers felt like. I know Curto is solid. I want her to be appreciated. If this the shot, I hope the best.
