how is it? i've been meaning to get into novik's work but i'm not sure it's really for me

I really did not like Uprooted by her, so I wasn’t gonna give her another try, but I kept hearing about the Scholomance books so I gave in. I really like this series! The writing is fine for the most part, very YA, the characters are fine, but the world and plot and themes are really creative and cool and satisfying. The books are also just very easy to read so it’s not much of an investment.
