tired of hearing people say this dynamic shows an “equal partnership” like… i get where y’all are coming from but the arrant egotistical power struggle, while good-natured, is absolutely present. they’re both high-scoring centers for major teams with a longstanding rivalry and are constantly trading off accolades season by season and you’re gonna tell me there /not/ fighting for dominance in the bedroom??
