3/5 -- finished Numbers. God is a God of order.

2/11 -- finished Exodus. it's always so encouraging to see God's unwavering faithfulness even when His people are unfaithful.

1/29 -- finished Genesis. Joseph's story really stood out to me this time. It's so cool.

Lord willing, i am going to read the entire Bible in this translation this year! this Bible has lots of notes on cultural context, comparing how ancient Israel viewed God vs how other nations viewed their gods, etc. i'm interested in that kind of stuff so looking forward to learning more about it :)
