This book is actually giving me a headache. Stop using 5,000 words to say nothing.

“When our leaders give us something noble to be a part of, offer us a compelling purpose or reason why we should come to work, something that will outlive us, it seems to give us the power to do the right thing… that leader's vision comes to life the right way, a stable way and not the expedient way.”

My journalism major/Ernest Hemingway side really comes out with non fiction books like this where it feels like they just had an idea and, instead of writing a concise article on it, they write a 300 page book on it instead with 1800 anecdotal stories.

But yeah I’m only 5 pages in, definitely not judging already (🤡)!

Reading for work and hoping for the best, but I’m 5 pages in and already feel like he could’ve cut 40% of the words he’s used. 🙂
